Senior Pastor - Mark Fontecchio

Pastor Mark Fontecchio and his family feel blessed to call Alaska and Pioneer Baptist Church their home. Mark and his wife Angie are thankful to have three wonderful children (Micah, Hannah, and Anika) who serve along side of them. They love God and love being with His people.

Mark's passion is helping believers grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). His verse by verse teaching through the Bible has ministered to people around the world (his podcast and writing ministry can be found here: ReturntotheWord.com).

Mark is an avid student of the Word of God, first entering the ministry full-time in 1997. His formal education includes:

Associate Pastor - Carson Warren

Hello, my name is Carson Warren. I am a lifelong Alaskan with a desire to learn and grow in God’s word. My wife Mindy and I first met at a home fellowship in 2008, and were married a year later. We have three fun loving children and a handful of chickens. Our passion is connecting with and serving alongside our church family. We believe that God is glorified through the teaching of His word and in our worship together as we walk through this life. Our family is honored to serve and worship alongside the Meadow Lakes community at Pioneer Baptist Church.

Administrative Assistant - Hannah Fontecchio

Hannah Fontecchio loves worshipping God and studying His Word with her church family. She is currently attending University of Alaska Fairbanks and is thankful that Wasilla and Pioneer Baptist Church are her home. Hannah enjoys playing the piano, exploring Alaska, and spending time with her family. As the Administrative Assistant at Pioneer Baptist, she is happy to help in any way that she can.

Children's Ministry Director - Becki Olson

Becki Olson, along with her husband Ben and 5 lovely children, has been serving in children's ministry in various capacities for 30 years. Becki loves kids and is passionate about teaching them God's Word in a way that they can understand.

BA in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Children's Ministry from Alaska Bible College
